What AXIS Core is

Infrastructure is a product, and it has one customer: the estate.

Each AXIS business holds its own mandate and answers for its own outcomes. None of them should be answering for its own runtime, its own identity layer, or its own release pipeline. AXIS Core exists so that work is done once, held to one standard, and consumed rather than reinvented.

That consolidation is only safe if the boundaries hold. AXIS Core is organised as five planes, each owning one concern and exposing a contract — so one business’s incident stays one business’s incident.
